All pool toys, flotation devices, etc. must be approved by pool staff and used only in designated areas.
- When approved flotation devices are used, an adult in swim wear must be within arms reach watching the child who is using it. The lifeguard must be able to tell who is watching any child using flotation and feel comfortable with the situation.
- Generally water wings, life jackets, small rings, and small beach balls are allowed.
- Generally not allowed are kick boards and large flotation devices (such as adult sized rafts) because of visibility.
- Only soft nerf type balls may be thrown.
- Noodles, if allowed, must be kept away from diving area, children must be able to swim by themselves.
